About Veolia Environnement in Hungary
Veolia Environnement appeared on the Hungarian market with its environmental services more than ten years ago, at the beginning of the 1990s. All of Veolia Environnement’s activities, except passenger transportation, are represented in Hungary by its companies Veolia Water, Veolia Environmental Services and Veolia Energie with a combined net sales of over HUF 264 billion in 2005, and with almost 2800 employees. At present, Veolia Transport has a representation office in the country.
The three business areas are legally independent of each other, however, following international practices, they strive to achieve close cooperation in respect of both business and communication. Their closely matching clientele, municipalities, industrial companies and service providers, can benefit from optimized, reliable operation, financial savings and technical innovation with the comprehensive but, at the same time, customized service packages of Veolia Environnement’s companies.
