From January 2008 Veolia Transport Sweden will hold two thirds of the total stocks of the maintenance company Tågia and will thereby be majority owner.
The public transport authorities of Stockholm, SL, own the rest of the stocks. Tågia will continue to be an independent company and neither staff nor collective agreements will be effected by the new owner structures.
Tågia is a service company managing maintenance and modernization of railway vehicles. The activity is mainly focused on maintenance, repair and modernization of metro train cars, tramway cars and other vehicles of the railways of Stockholm.
